Police are investigating a homicide in John D’or Prairie.
Fort Vermilion RCMP went to the medical centre in John D’or Prairie yesterday, where a male had been assaulted and dropped off.
The victim later died due to his injuries and RCMP are treating his death as a homicide.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has been deployed and has taken carriage of the investigation, which is currently ongoing.
An autopsy on the man’s body has been scheduled for the Medical Examiner’s office in Edmonton.
