- Wildfires are starting to calm down, thanks to the moisture of the long weekend. Even the Fort McMurray fire has been downgraded, as crews get a little assistance.
In this area, the fires in Teepee Creek, Valhalla, and near Dixonville have been downgraded, as barriers are set up. - The countdown is on to see doctors at Fairview’s Health Complex Emergency Department.

The 2025 school year will see a deficit reduced from $2.2 million to around $552,000.
