The Kapawe’no First Nation Collegiate, based in Grouard isreceiving money for new books and literacy resources.
The school is receiving $10,000 for their four schools, which includes:
- Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School (Grades K-6)
- Buffalo Bay Academy (Grades 7-12)
- Virtual Learning Centre (Grades 4-12)
- First Nation College
The grant money is also being used to increase library budgets and access to current literature.
