  1. Two residents from Manning are in custody on charges from GP and Spirit River. Earlier this month, police responded to a B&E, and witnessed a truck leaving the scene.
    The truck, stolen from SR was abandoned, but the suspects were caught. 34 year-old Mason Gordon Lane, and 30 year-old Chelsea Lauren Goddard face numerous offenses.
  2. High Level RCMP is asking for the public’s help with locating 36-year-old Lorraine Maltais-Chonkolay.
    She was last seen in Bushe River First Nation on Saturday night getting into a black vehicle.
  3. School’s out next week, and that means holidays, camping, and other activities outdoors.

    Statistics Canada said the increase came as the country welcomed 121,758 immigrants in the first quarter.

  11. The Baseball world is continuing to mourn the loss of an icon. Willie Mays spent 25 seasons in the Major Leagues with the Giants, and the Mets.
    Known for “The Catch” in 1954 that led to his one and only World Series Championship, Mays was a 24-time all-star and has his number retired with both teams.
    Say Hey, Willie Mays passed away last night at a Care home in California, He was 93 years of age.
  12. Sunshine and warmer temperatures are in-store into the end of this week and this weekend in the Northwest. Digits are in the low 20’s today, with lows tonight around 5.
    Numbers will be summer-like during the weekend, possibly knocking on the door of 30 degrees Friday and Saturday.
