Emergency crews are trying to find a pair of individuals the were caught in the current of the Smoky River.
McLennan RCMP say they were alerted to the situation on Wednesday night, and are helping with the ongoing search efforts.
Officers are requesting that the public maintain a respectful distance from the search and rescue operations, particularly on the water.
An increase of visitors to the area is expected to increase with the weekend approaching.
