RCMP officers in Fox Lake have made a couple of arrests for drug trafficking and firearms.
Police received a complaint on Tuesday from concerned citizens in regards to a video that was posted on social media.
The video allegedly shows a male consuming drugs, alcohol, as well as discharging a firearm from a residential window.
Officers were familier with the man and the residence and a search warrant resulted in two long barrel firearms, ammunition and suspected cocaine being seized.
Two people were charged, a man from Fox Lake and a woman from Garden River.
Dusty Laboucan (29), a resident of Fox Lake, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Fail to comply with Order x 3;
Careless use of firearm;
Unsafe storage of firearm x2;
Possession of firearm/device knowing possession was unauthorized x3;
Possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Summer D’or (23), a resident of Garden River, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Unsafe storage of firearm x2;
Possession of firearm/device knowing possession was unauthorized x3;
Possession for the purpose of trafficking.
