Northern Sunrise County will be lit up in Blue for the month of January, in support of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month!
In Alberta alone, over 62,000 individuals live with dementia, a number expected to rise significantly in the coming years. Across Canada, this number escalates to over 733,043, underscoring a challenge of national significance.
Each case of Alzheimer’s or dementia signifies not just a loss of memory, but a shift in family dynamics, a reimagining of futures, and an adaptation to new realities. The journey is often marked by courage, resilience, but also uncertainty and the need for support.
