- Red Earth Creek RCMP are asking for help to locate a missing man.
34 year-old Cory Netowastanum was reported missing over the weekend, and was last seen more than a week ago at the skating rink in Loon Lake. - The Mackenzie region is finishing up with digging out of last week’s winter storm.
Roads in places like La Crete, Fort Vermilion, and High Level will have crews out to clear the roads. - The Peace Valley Snowriders is concerned by damage that is caused by four-wheeled vehicles on their trail systems.
For the second time in January, the north end of the Osmond/Getaway Cabins/Leddy Lake Trail has been damaged following substantial work to clear and groom the trail. - At a recent Council meeting, High Level Town Council approved the pre-treatment project, at a cost of $6.6 Million Dollars.
The resolution is to move ahead with a pre-treatment upgrade, however the town says the venture will save hundreds of thousands of dollars in costs for future treatment. - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a food recall warning on Saturday for several brands of shell eggs due to a potential salmonella contamination.
The report warned that shell eggs from brands such as Compliments, Foremost, Golden Valley, IGA and western family may contain “possible” salmonella contamination. - One Canadian team is in action in the NHL tonight… Tampa Bay is in Toronto.
- Tyler Myers of the Vancouver Canucks, and Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers are in hearings regarding their on-ice antics at the end of Saturday’s game.
