The Town of High Level is launching a new logo created to commemorate the town’s 60th anniversary in 2025.
This design reflects the rich history and bright future of the community, honouring its journey from fur trade roots to becoming a vibrant hub of industry and culture in Northern Alberta.
Officially incorporated on June 1, 1965, High Level grew from a trappers’ stop in the 18th century to a thriving town powered by innovation and community spirit. This logo, only in use for 2025, encapsulates this evolution, combining elements of High Level’s past with a forward-looking design. The logo will feature prominently throughout the town’s anniversary celebrations.
Mayor and Council have green-lit a number of projects in the coming year from special 60th Anniversary swag to enhancements for many of High Level’s signature events such as Canada Day and the End of Summer Party.
These celebrations aim to strengthen community connections while showcasing High Level’s unique character.
“We’re excited to share this symbol of our history and resilience as we celebrate 60 incredible years,” said Mayor Crystal McAteer. “The logo represents our shared pride and optimism as we look ahead to the future.”
