- The Trade war between the USA and Canada, has been delayed by at least 30 days.
Canada finalized a $1.3 Billion dollar border plan, including 10,000 frontline personnel, ensuring 24/7 eyes on the border and a Canada-US Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering.
Canada has also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl, at a cost of $200 million dollars. - Peace Regional authorities have one in custody after a firearms report in Cadotte Lake.
Police responded, but learned of a new location that led them to a residence in Simon Lake, west of the area.
26 year-old Chester Junior Eskagon of Simon Lake faces assault, firearms, and resisting charges. He also had two warrants out against him. - RRSP season has begun, with authorities offering to help with the needs of customers.
