Seeding season in the Peace and Northwest of Alberta is proceeding at a brisk pace.
Of the major crops, which includes Spring Wheat, Barley, Oats, Canola, and Dry Peas, the crop is a quarter planted in the Peace, and nearly a third done in the Northwest.
That’s 7-15 percentage points higher than the five and ten-year averages, which is attributed to by the dry and sunny weather.
