Canada Post Strike changing course

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced a shift from a nationwide strike to rotating strikes, set to begin Saturday at 6 a.m. local time.
This strategy aims to resume mail and parcel delivery while maintaining pressure on Canada Post.
The nationwide strike, initiated on September 25, followed the federal government’s announcement of significant reforms to Canada Post, including ending door-to-door delivery for most households within a decade, reducing delivery frequency, and closing some post offices.
CUPW has expressed concerns that these changes could lead to job losses and has called for the government to reconsider.
A follow-up meeting with the minister’s office is scheduled for next week.
