  1. Peace Regional police have found 23 year-old Jasmine Charlene Cardinal of Little Buffalo deceased.
  2. Two people from Manning have pleaded guilty to charges after an incident in Grande Prairie last June.
  3. Court dates have been set for a Kelowna BC man charged after a drug lab was found near Valleyview last November.
  4. Trending 55 is talking with the Mayor candidates in the region for next week’s Municipal Election. Sacha Martens in High Prairie says commitment is present.
  5. Several candidate forums taking place ahead of those elections. One such forum will be happening tonight in Valleyview.
    The will be the mayor and council candidates for the town along with some candidates running for council in the MD of Greenview and for public school trustees.
  6. Canada Post and its unionized postal workers are still negotiating towards a collective agreement amid a rotating strike that will see some deliveries resume.
  7. A hockey player from High Level has begun his first season in the WHL.
    Logan Lanti plays for the Kamloops Blazers, he says the speed of the game is the biggest thing he’s had to adjust to.
  8. Four games in the NHL tonight. Calgary is in Utah, Ottawa is in Buffalo, Chicago is in St. Louis, and Florida is in Detroit.
  9. Game 3 of the ALCS goes tonight as the Toronto Blue Jays are in Seattle. Shane Bieber starts for the Jays, who are down two games to nothing.
  10. A mix of sun and cloud is forecasted for the rest of this week in the Peace and Big Lakes with temps around 10 degrees during the day.
    The Mackenzie has some quirks in their forecast, with today being windy, and tomorrow being wet. Lows at night are still requiring the ice scraper the next morning.
    Temps start cooling off a little even more, next week.
