I feel like this is the classic superpower question of invisibility vs. flight. somehow it came up as I was talking with some people here in the station and, Donny, our producer took the stance of flight is better…now I feel the exact opposite about this. So I argued that invisibility is the cooler power. Then when I got home I got a call from my friend and he also told me that flight was better.
I still disagree because, with invisibility, you can be the world’s best magician. No one would figure out that disappearing act. You could also run a killer haunted house. Spook people then disappear from existence. Now the counterargument is you could levitate and still be a good magician. Another one is why scare people when you can just fly everywhere. To those, I say…fair point.
Look, I know that invisibility is not a perfect power but I think that it is awesome! How many times did harry potter use that invisibility cloak of his? So, the only logical way to find a conclusive answer is to ask all of the listeners and you guys voted on which power was better.
On KIX FM 69% of people voted for a flight over the 31% invisibility. Hmmm, it seems that my stance of invisibility is not the favored one. On River Country, 57% of people voted for a flight over the 43 percent invisibility. I’m glad more people voted invisibility but still, it seems that it lost this battle to flight.
I am a little saddened by the outcome but I’m not saying that flight isn’t a cool power. I would be super happy to get the power of flight. Imagine soaring up there with birds…then getting attacked by birds…maybe accidentally running into an airplane… I think it would be awesome!
