Peace River, Alta. – In June, 2023, Peace Regional RCMP’s General Investigation Services (GIS), assisted by Grande Prairie ALERT, began an investigation into the selling of cocaine and fentanyl in the Peace River area.
As a result of the investigation on Aug. 16, 2023, Jennifer Jatho (26), a resident of Peace River, was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking fentanyl, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Jennifer was brought before a justice of the peace where she was released with a court date of Sept. 11, 2023 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River
As these matters are before the courts, no further updates or details surrounding the incident will be provided.
