ASIRT finds no wrongdoing in 2021 arrest in Sucker Creek

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team has concluded that no wrongdoing was conducted during an arrest being made in Sucker Creek in De4cember of 2021.

A report stems from an incident occuring where Lakeshore Police and the suspect being arrested were in a struggle, with the suspect sustaining injuries.

It was also alleged that while in custody, the suspect was not assessed by medical professionals.

This was due to the suspect being possibly intoxicated, had the altercation with officers, and might have been exposed to the elements for an extended period.
