The Beatles are coming back to the Big Screen in an all new way! For the first time ever, one director will be able to both tell the life stories of the hit British band, but also be able to use their music in the films. That’s right, FILMS. Sam Mendes, director of hit films like American Beauty and Skyfall, will be directing FOUR films about The Beatles—one biographical film for each member of the band.
The past few years have been pretty good for fans of the band, with the new song releasing last year and the three-part series on Disney+ in 2021. It looks like there will be a lot of great new content about the band starting as early as 2027.
