The Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association has a campaign going on right now to find the worst roads in the Province.
CEO Ron Glen says that this is about raising awareness for improving the conditions of roads in Alberta.
“As the contractors who build and maintain roads, we see the condition that they’re in. We advocate for provincial and municipal investment in our highway system. This year, after everything that everyone’s been through, we thought we would try something that was a little bit different and have a little bit of fun raising awareness in the public to talk about road conditions.”
Glen says people can make their nominations on social media.
“First you can go to the website, drivingimprovement.ca, that’s the website for our campaign. You can post a photo through the social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram with #AlbertaFixOurRoads.”
Glen says that the campaign will end in early June where they will announce what Alberta roads are “the best of the worst”.
