With the likely possibility that in-class learning will be back in time for the 2020-21 academic year, the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division is looking to prepare for that.
The division sent out surveys to parents, staff and students and division Superintendent, Betty Turpin says feedback is essential.
“We have been out for eight weeks now and we want to get some thoughts that our parents, students and staff have, and what their thoughts and perspectives are about coming back to school in the fall,” says Turpin.
Turpin told the Trending 55 Newsroom that the survey is voluntary and all participants will remain anonymous.
She also says that the more responses to the surveys the division receives, the better it can plan for the school year.
“It will give us an insight on how comfortable parents feel with their children coming back to school, whether they can provide transportation, or whether their child needs to be on a bus so this will give us really good information as we start to plan for the year,” explains Turpin.
Should classes be cancelled, Turpin says the surveys also ask parents and students how comfortable they have been with online learning as well.
The staff survey is not public, but you can click the links below to access the parent and student surveys.
The deadline is June 18.
