
A Peace River man is facing chargers after a suspicious vehicle report.
Early last week, RCMP received a report of a person sleeping inside a vehicle on Highway 986.
The man passed an alcohol screening test, but right after officers left the scene, he began driving erratically.
Police were able to find him again and discovered a firearm and approximately 53.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 29.7 grams of suspected cocaine, and seized an assortment of drug paraphernalia including scales, baggies, measuring devices and containers.

Russell William Pasquan (34), is facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, charges of possession of a firearm when unauthorized, possession a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession for the purpose of trafficking x 2, for suspected cocaine and methamphetamine.
He’ll appear in Peace River Provincial Court on Monday.
