I got the chance to speak with Shawn Desman this week on a variety of things. I grew up listening to Shawn’s music and even remember buying his debut album around 20 years ago. Safe to say I was “Shook” at the opportunity to talk with him (pun intended).
We discussed his new single “Love You With The Lights On” and the inspiration for the track as well as the music video. I got the chance to find out about the his retirement back in 2015 and how he came back to music at the urging of a notable fellow Canadian musician. We also discussed his past fashion as well as a connection he has with country music while also taking a stroll down memory lane with things like Much Music and hockey.
