
On April 15th, Alberta Health Services confirmed 126 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 1,996
In her daily update, Chief Medical Officer of Health, Doctor Deena Hinshaw says there was a malfunction and that all the information usually given with the daily briefing is not available but expects the full numbers to be included in Thursday’s update.
48 Albertans have now died from COVID-19 but no new deaths were confirmed today.
In the North Zone, there are 107 cases of COVID-19 and six people have passed away.
AHS is reporting that 914 people have recovered from the virus.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
