
On April 6rd, Chief Medical Officer of Health Doctor Deena Hinshaw confirmed 98 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 1,348.
There are 89 cases of COVID-19 in the north zone and four people have passed away.
24 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
Hinshaw has also reported that 361 people have recovered from the virus.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
