
On June 16, Alberta Health Services confirmed 35 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 7,482.
It was also reported that no one passed away. 151 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 268 cases of COVID-19 and 16 people have passed away.
There are currently 26 active cases in our zone.
AHS is reporting that 6,882 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 449 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
