On June 4, 2021 Alberta Health Services confirmed 244 additional cases of COVID-19 in the province.
The total number of active cases in Alberta is 5,415.
There are currently 379 people in hospital with the virus and 109 are in ICU.
For active cases in our area; there are 36 in Mackenzie County, 15 in the MD of Peace, six in the MD of Greenview while all other surrounding counties and MD’s in our region have two active cases or less.
The percentage of people around the region receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is:
- Falher area – 44.3%,
- Peace River area – 40.9%,
- Spirit River area – 39%,
- Fairview area – 37.4%,
- Manning area – 36.8%,
- Valleyview area – 36.4%,
- High Prairie area – 32.3%
- High Level area (Mackenzie County) – 13.2%
