On May 21, 2021 Alberta Health Services confirmed 732 additional cases of COVID-19 in the province. The total number of active cases in Alberta is at 16,577. There are currently 638 people in hospital with the virus and 177 are in ICU.
In the North Zone for active cases, there are 155 in Mackenzie County, 39 in the MD of Greenview, 22 in the MD of Peace, 15 in the MD of Fairview, 12 in the County of Northern Lights, ten in Big Lakes County, while all other surrounding counties and MD’s in our region have six active cases or less.
