
On May 26, Alberta Health Services confirmed 22 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 6,901.
It was also reported that one person passed away in the last 24 hours.139 Albertans have now died from COVID-19.
In the North Zone, there are 235 cases of COVID-19 and 16 people have passed away.
There are currently 19 active cases in our zone.
AHS is reporting that 6,048 people have recovered from the virus.
This means that there are currently 714 active cases across Alberta.
To help slow spread or ease fear of catching COVID-19, the government recommends washing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds, and to avoid touching the face.
