There was a budget adjustment for the 2024–2025 fiscal year to take into account the additional funding allocated by the Official Languages Assistance Program (OLEP) and those received from the Department of Education. The budget presented is balanced, but it does not provide a margin for contingencies. PLOÉ Entente Canada- Alberta OLEP funds have been distributed among the four Francophone councils under a new formula for the 2024-2025 year. The amount received from the OLEP for 2024-2025 is $518,672.48. The NOSC will not necessarily receive the same amount from year to year, as the allocation formula is still being revised to ensure long-term equity.
