Dominique Jean will take over from Linda Couillare-L’abbè starting in the 2017-18 school year.

Jean most recently was principal of Holy Family Catholic Regional Division’s Glenmary School during this past school year.

This is Jean’s second time working for the Conseil scolaire du Nord-Ouest (CSNO), having previously worked at Ècole Heritage in Falher from 1989 until 2012. During that time, he served as a junior and senior high school teacher, sports coordinator, vice-principal, co-principal, and finally, as principal during his final two years.

CSNO Superintendent Brigitte Kropielnicki said in a news release that she’s pleased to welcome back Monsieur Jean to the school division.

“Under his leadership, EQV will continue to flourish and meet the requirements of quality French-language education,” said Kropielnicki.

She adds that Jean’s qualities in leadership and educational experiences will allow him to reach the goals of the school and the School Board in collaborations with staff, parents, students, the community-at-large, as well as the board itself.
