For the second time in less than a week, the Peace Region has been rocked by earthquakes.

A total of 5 quakes were measured between 4:45 and 6:45pm yesterday.

The strongest was just before 6pm, when the third quake hit at 5.8 on the Richter Scale.

The Federal Government Earthquake Detection website says two quakes at 5.2 preceded the 5.8 tremor.

The quakes again were in an area just Southeast of Peace River, near Reno.

The quakes were felt all around the Peace Region, including the Mackenzie and the Big Lakes.

At this point, no reports of damage or injuries have been made.

The Peace Region has been hit with another earthquake…

This one hit at 4:45 this afternoon, again just outside Reno.

This 5.1 quake was apparently felt all over the area, including the Mackenzie, and the Big Lakes.

Aftershocks were also felt after the initial quake.

This follows a 4.1 quake that hit last week in the same area.

At this time, there are no reports of damage or injuries…

Stay tuned for more information, as it becomes available.
