The Provincial Government has announced the start of their new K to 6 curriculum.
Education Minister Adriana LaGrange has announced that the curriculum will update three subjects.
English Language Arts and Literature, Mathematics and Physical Education and Wellness will see a different approach next year.
The Government says the curriculum will be implemented in three stages, and will be in complete operation by the 2025 school year.
The Minister also stated funding is being invested into education.
$59 Million Dollars is being invested into quality learning and resources being available.
It’s part of $191 million dollars invested over the next three years.
The announcement was made at Florence MacDougall Community School in High Level.
