Despite the Northwest getting a little snow in the past 24 hours, officials are not expecting it to stick around.

Santa Clause is going to need wheels for his sled, because not much snow is present.

Environment Canada is predicting a warmer than usual winter, because of an “El Nino” season.

The grips of it came this past spring and that means warmer and dryer weather continues to be ahead.

Alysa Pederson is a Meteorologist with Environment Canada says it’s “Making Conversation” not only in the Northwest, but around the province.

Pederson says a green or brown Christmas is not out of the question this year.
