Election Candidate Profiles – Scott Sinclair

The UCP candidate in Lesser Slave Lake says quote “people in politics could use a fresher face and a younger voice”.

Scott Sinclair is running in the provincial election, he says he’s heard a lot from people about “protecting our way of life”

“I think that’s one of the clear cut differences between the two parties. We have one party that’s about control. Control over your paychecks, control over how you raise our kids, control over our education and control over our way of life. Then we have another party, the UCP that I’m running for, that believes that the people that we trust most with our money is you.”

He says one of their priorities is on improving the economy.

“We want to remind people that the NDP, instead of listening to what they’re saying, lets just remember what they did when they were in power in Northern Alberta, which was destroy jobs, raise taxes, chase away 183,000 jobs, chasing away investment and destroying our oil and gas and trying to unionize farmers.”

The riding was represented in the legislature by Pat Rehn of the UCP from 2019 to 2023.
