Spirit River’s Central Peace Health Complex is the latest hospital to have a temporary closure of the emergency department.
They were closed from 7 PM last night until this morning and will be closed again from 7 PM tonight to 7 AM tomorrow morning.
EMS calls during those times will be re-routed to Fairview, Grande Prairie and Valleyview.
Residents are reminded to call Health Link at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions.
