Sandy Richardson of Eureka River has won the Volunteer of the Year award by the Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteer Organizations.
The Committe says that Richardson is a member of 15 boards in the Clear Hill County area, including a 4H club, the Ag. Society and the Cemetary Board, all in Eureka River.
This is the second time in three years that Richardson has been recognized for this award.
Eureka River is about 30-40 minutes northwest of Fairview.
