Fairview RCMP lay charges in connection to Break in and dangerous driving call 

Hines Creek, Alta. – On May 31, 2023, Fairview RCMP responded to a report of a Break in that just occurred at a rural business near Hines Creek. Police learned that when the witness confronted the suspect in a vehicle the suspect ran the victim off the road. The suspect was later spotted again by witnesses who attempted confront the driver. The suspect crashed his vehicle into the witness’s vehicle and when he attempted to flee on foot, he was detained by witnesses until police arrival.

The vehicle the suspect was driving was reported stolen from the Grimshaw area days earlier.

As a result of the investigation, RCMP have charged 22-year-old Kyle Robinson, a resident of Brownvale Alberta, with:

·         Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 (x2)

·         Break and enter

·         Dangerous driving (x2)

Robinson has been taken before a justice of the peace and remanded in custody with his next appearance set for June 5, 2023, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
