It is set to go on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 10 AM to 4 PM at their facility just west of Fairview.

Included in the itinerary are tours for about 899 plots of land, including for cocktail cover crops, sainfoin, corn intercrop systems, wheat variety trials, cereal demos, and many more.

As well, there will also be special presentations taking place on Beekeeping, Farm Safety, and Crop Pests, as well as a few demonstrations on some of the equipment that is used at the event.

And, it’s fun for the whole family too. A kid’s zone will include various activities, including for farm safety, games, crafts, a petting zoo, a jumping castle, as well as face painting.

As an added incentive, a free barbecue lunch will be provided at the event.

To register, or to find out more information, check out their website at www.peacecountrybeef.ca, or call 780-835-6799.

This event is being put on in collaboration with the Municipal District of Fairview, Grande Prairie Regional College, the Alberta Wheat Commission, as well as the provincial government.
