The rains in the Peace and Big Lakes have helped with the Fires and the Fire Bans in the area.
Peace River, Slave Lake and Grande Prairie’s Forest areas have lifted their Fire Bans, thanks to this past weekend’s rainfall.
However, High Level’s Ban is still in effect, due to lack of moisture in the area.
Some areas still have restrictions in place.
