Four Rycroft residents in custody

Spirit River RCMP investigate thefts arresting 4 and returning property

Spirit River, Alta. – On April 3, 2023, Spirit River RCMP received a report that the victims classic ford truck, two trailers, two snowmobiles, and a large amount of vehicle parts had been stolen. As a result of the investigation, on April 7, 2023, RCMP located the pick up at a residence in Rycroft. RCMP arrested two individuals. Additional investigation led police to a separate residence in Rycroft where police located both trailers, and engine parts. Two additional individuals were arrested at that residence.

RCMP have charged Richard Frey (47), a resident of Rycroft with, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.

Frey was released from custody with his next appearance set for June 14, 2023, at Grande Prairie Court of Justice.

RCMP have charged Conrad Cain (58), a resident of Rycroft with, Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.

Cain was released from custody with his next appearance set for June 12, 2023, at Grande Prairie Court of Justice.

RCMP have charged Glyn Jones (59), a resident of Rycroft with, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.

Jones was released from custody on an undertaking with his next appearance set for June 19, 2023, at Grande Prairie Court of Justice.

RCMP have charged Allison Glober (37), a resident of Rycroft with, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.

Glober was released from custody with her next appearance set for June 19, 2023, at Grande Prairie Court of Justice.
