The Town of Grimshaw held its annual organizational meeting on October 23, 2024, where Stacey Messner was re-elected as Deputy Mayor. Mayor Wald continues in the role of mayor, who was elected by residents three years ago during the municipal election.
During the meeting, Councillors were appointed to various committees and boards, the remuneration schedule was reviewed, and meeting dates for the upcoming year were established.
“We encourage everyone in our community to engage with us—your ideas and questions are vital to the growth of our community,” said Mayor Wendy Wald.
Regular council meetings will take place on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 pm. These meetings are open to the public and held in Council Chambers at the Town of Grimshaw Administration Building.
“On behalf of Council, thank you to everyone who contributes to making Grimshaw a great place to live, work, and raise a family,” says Wald. “We have a fantastic community because of the wonderful people that call Grimshaw home.”
The Town of Grimshaw Town Council consists of Mayor Wendy Wald, Deputy Mayor Stacey Messner, and Councillors Carmen Johnson, Bob Regal, Colleen Sklapsky, Lynn Florence, and Stephen Hennings.
