The day has been observed for over 100 years, but students across the Northwest are appreciative of the sacrifices, leading to the freedoms provided in Canada.
Students across the Northwest are partaking in Remembrance Day services today at school.
One place that is having more than one event happening is Grimshaw Public School, where services and “A night in the Trenches” happens during the weekend.
Melissa Reimer is a teacher at Grimshaw Public School.
