The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division’s (HFCRD) Board of Trustees has approved the calendar for the 2017-18 school year.
In a press release, the division says each decision made was in order to best meet the learning needs of students, as well as their families and communities.
One calendar was provided for the HFCRD schools located in Peace River, Grimshaw and Manning. Three separate ones were provided for St. Andrew’s School in High Prairie, St. Stephan’s School in Valleyview, as well as École Providence School in McLennan.
The board says it’s due to the constraints of having HFCRD transportation being provided by three neighbouring school divisions. It’s the second straight year the board used this method for their school calendars.
