Holy Family Catholic Regional Division (HFCRD) warmly congratulates Nicola Quigley, who will be taking over the role of Division Faith Permeation Coordinator. She steps into the position, bringing experience as the Faith Permeation Coordinator at Good Shepherd School in Peace River.
In her new role, Nicola will work with the Faith Permeation Coordinators at each school, focusing on ensuring HFCRD’s dedication to integrating faith throughout our students’ entire education.
Nicola, a graduate of the University of Lethbridge, began her teaching career in 1993 at Glenmary School, where she taught band, social studies, and religion, creating lasting memories with her band students. It was during these years that she married her husband Jack and welcomed two children, Luke and Conor.
In 2007, she moved to Good Shepherd School as a music teacher and school based Faith Coordinator, where she found joy in connecting students to their faith through music. Nicola’s passion for music led her to earn a Masters of Education in Elementary Music from the University of Alberta in 2019.
She has also been actively involved in her community, contributing to Peace Players musical productions, the Peace River Community Choir, and music ministry at Our Lady of Peace Parish.
“Nicola’s unwavering dedication to fostering faith within the division makes her an ideal fit for this role”, says Superintendent Betty Turpin. “Her passion for ensuring that HFCRD’s commitment to faith permeates every aspect of the school day is truly inspiring, and I have full confidence in her ability to lead this important work.”
