Town of High Level launches new platform to enhance community engagement

The Town of High Level is making it easier for residents to learn about and provide input on community projects with the launch of a new digital engagement platform through Social Pinpoint.

Social Pinpoint offers an accessible and interactive way for residents to share their thoughts on local initiatives, projects, and policies. The platform provides Town Administration with a range of tools to collect real-time feedback, ensuring decisions reflect community priorities.

“We know that not everyone has the time to attend meetings or fill out lengthy surveys,” said Mayor Crystal McAteer. “Social Pinpoint makes it easy for residents to share their thoughts – whether it’s a quick comment on a project or detailed feedback on an initiative – whenever it’s convenient for them.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone to have a voice in shaping High Level’s future, and I encourage all residents to get involved and make their opinions count.” With Social Pinpoint, residents can participate in discussions, submit ideas, and provide feedback through interactive features at their convenience. The platform supports multilingual access to make it easier for traditionally underrepresented groups to share their perspectives.

“The world runs on data,” said Viv Thoss, Chief Administrative Officer. “This platform allows us to hear directly from the people who live and work in High Level. By providing Council with timely, accurate insights, we’re ensuring our community has a stronger voice in shaping its future.”
