High Level thanked for 2023 evacuation assistance
The Town of High Level would like to thank Deputy Mayor Jim Dives of Enterprise, NT, for stopping in at the Town office on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, to present Mayor Crystal McAteer with two special gifts on behalf of his community.
Dives expressed appreciation for High Level’s assistance and support during the 2023 wildfire evacuations.
“I want to thank Deputy Mayor Dives and the community of Enterprise for these gracious gifts,” said Mayor McAteer. “Town of High Level staff and volunteers went above and beyond when called upon by our northern neighbours in 2023, highlighting our town as part of a larger northern community that always has each other’s backs in times of need.”
