Fort Vermillion RCMP advise John D’Or Prairie residents to shelter in place – Update
John D’or Prairie, Alta. – Fort Vermillion RCMP would like to advise the public that the shelter in place has been lifted and there is no danger to the public. One person has been arrested and taken into custody.
An update is anticipated once charges are laid.
BACKGROUD
Fort Vermillion RCMP advise John D’Or Prairie residents to shelter in place
John D’or Prairie, Alta. – Fort Vermillion RCMP are currently on scene responding to a high risk police situation at a residence in John D’Or Prairie. Although the situation is contained to the residence, police are asking all residents of the John D’Or Prairie townsite to lock their doors, stay inside and follow directions of responding officers.
For public and police safety, please do not post the actions of police on social media.
