High Level RCMP respond to single vehicle rollover with injuries
High Level, Alta. – On Nov. 6, 2024 at 6:18 p.m., High Level RCMP with the assistance of the High Level Fire Department and EMS responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 58 near Range Road 170 in Mackenzie County Alta. Upon arrival on scene, emergency services located the two occupants of the vehicle, both of whom were determined to be suffering from serious but non life- threatening injuries. The investigation determined that passenger had been ejected from the vehicle during the collision. Both occupants were taken to hospital for treatment. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors.
A 28-year-old male from the Fort Vermillion area, was charged with;
- Impaired operation causing bodily harm;
- Additional Provincial charges under the Traffic Safety Act.
High Level RCMP thank the public for their understanding as the collision resulted the closure of Highway 58 for several hours.
