High Level RCMP conduct arrest of wanted male
High Level, Alta. – On Feb. 2, 2024, High Level RCMP, who were investigating the whereabouts of a male wanted on multiple charges, including pointing a firearm, obtained and executed warrants in Bushe River, Alta. RCMP entered the residence, arrested and charged four individuals, including the wanted male, and seized multiple items.
As a result of the search warrant, the following items were seized:
- Sawed-off shotguns (x2), one of which was stolen;
- Sawed-Off .22 Caliber Rifle;
- High Caliber Rifle;
- Ammunition;
- Knives (x4), including machetes (x2) and a switch blade;
- Police Baton; and
- Black firearm safe containing the following:
- 147 grams of suspected cocaine;
- 344 grams of suspected psilocybin;
- 2 weight scales; and
- Cell phone, tablet and memory cards.
As a result of the investigation, the following four individuals were arrested:
- Milton Junior Salopree (34), a Bushe River resident, Jessica Flett (25), a resident of High Level, TJ Todd Harvey Flett (30) and Tyson Lance Konda Martel (33), both Bushe River residents, were charged with multiple offenses, including:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
- Possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking;
- Multiple firearms-related offences; and
- Possession of property obtained by crime.
- Furthermore, Salopree was arrested on warrants related to:

- Failure to comply with Orders and Undertakings;
- Possession of a firearm for a dangerous purpose;
- Pointing a firearm;
- Aggravated assault;
- Forcible confinement; and
- Break and enter.
All four suspects were brought before a justice of the peace. Jessica and TJ Flett, as well as Martel, were released on conditions while Salopree was remanded into custody. They are all set to appear at the Alberta court of Justice in High Level on Feb. 26, 2024.
