One person from Gift Lake is in custody from a homicide investigation.
RCMP officers from High Prairie received a call early Friday morning about a person found unresponsive in their vehicle.
Police discovered the man was dead having injuries consistent with a gun shot wound.
RCMP have determined the victim to be 41-year-old Gift Lake resident, Bradley Lamouche.
An autopsy on the victim will take place today in Edmonton.
Another person from Gift Lake, 27 year old Dakota Auger is facing charges for second-degree-murder.
Auger has a court appearance scheduled for today in High Prairie.
