Ice Advisories are continuing along the Peace River near the town.
Water is starting to be visible in sections, as Break-up is pending.
Temperatures are expected to sharply rise on Friday and will continue to rise throughout the weekend.

The River Ice Advisory for the Peace River at the Town of Peace River remains in effect. The Peace River is passing the Smoky River confluence today. A thermal breakup is expected through the Town of Peace River over Wed-Thurs this week. This is in advance of breakup on the Smoky River.
The RFC will continue to monitor conditions on the Peace Rivers and nearby tributaries for signs of increasing snowmelt or rising water levels, but no further impacts are expected.
